Long story. I bought a set of drivers from a pair of Revel Performa F50 speakers (all but the tweeters). These are drivers that Revel had swapped out, as they were found to be defective. Apparently there is a chemical reaction that causes the tinsel leads to corrode. All the drivers work, but the tinsel leads are looking rather the worse for wear. My guess is that someone used the wrong solder type on these (that is, the wrong flux). Replacing the tinsel leads looks doable.
Any idea where I can buy some?
