Hi - wanted to check if anyone has investigated the following:
1. how much processing power is needed to "uncompress/unpack" a flac file. I.e. what is the minimum processing power of a cpu needed?
2. Assuming data storage space is not an issue is one better of using uncompressed lossless formats such as wav or aiff that do not need to be "uncompressed/unpacked" thus possibly improving sound quality as there is less processing going on and less risk of bits being uncompressed in time?
