Listening to some CDs I was curious to find out if some the "low" sounds I heard were actually that low and I got hold of a program called Spectrum Analyser Pro.
Ran a couple of CDs through this and found some songs with very low frequency sounds on them, okay not really sub-sonic, but still low enough to cause some serious vibrations and yes, Byrd, that Bose designed pot plant works rather well with these frequencies, in fact I am sure it will take off one of these days :icon_naughty:
Here are some songs with the lowest frequencies I measured(I have not checked out any Pipe Organ CDs yet)
Shakira(Oral Fixation 2) - How do you do - 63.1Hz(Not that low, actually a "common" low freq)
Tamara Dey(First Lady & the Boys) Most of the songs - 50 to 63Hz
Katie Melua(Piece by Piece) - Nine Million Bicycles - 50Hz
Jack Johnson(In between Dreams) - Sitting, Waiting, Wishing - 40Hz
Tananas(Wide Ensemble) - Nongolo - 40Hz
And then the lowest I have found thus far:
Avril Lavigne(Let Go) - Sk8ter - 31Hz
Thought I have to start something here again :icon_naughty:
