I recently purchased a very good condition Luxman PD-264 turntable in great condition.
The table came with a Micro Acoustics 382 cartridge that appears to be in excellent condition. I can't find much information online about this cartridge, but Vinyl Engine lists it as a 'electret condenser' type. With an output of 3.5mV I assume this can be run as MM on the phono stage?
The arm auto lift is also a little stiff and does not activate at the end of play (I have adjusted it on its axis, but the needle mechanism looks like it needs some lubrication/adjustment). Does anyone know of a technique to adjust the mechanism, or am I better off using the table manually?
Thanks for any assistance!
