Hey guys,

I hope this is the right section to post this in, if not, apologies in advance.

So I need some suggestions on how to tackle this. I bought a pair of KRK Rokit Passives (1998) off gumtree from DBN. I trust the seller when he said they were fine but I think the one was either dropped or thumped in transit up to JHB. When I received the speaker I could hear some thumping in the box, so I took it apart and the magnet had fallen off. After some fiddling, I managed to locate the magnet on the speaker chassis and secure it (albeit temporarily) on the cone and tested it. Audibly it works fine, pushing it hard revealed that the voicecoil was hitting the magnet, but at lower normal levels it appears to be perfect. So i'm planning to attach the speaker again with Genkem Contact adhesive but my question is this, any idea on the best way to ensure that the voice coil is centered 100%. I can get it where I would say 75% of the travel is unhindered, after that it starts to scrape the magnet slightly.

I should be counting my blessings that I can get this far. I will more than likely need to replace the speaker in the future, but right now I figure I have nothing to lose so i'll give it a bash.

These are the guys here, i'll take some pics later tonight.
