Picked up a Minter 70's unit,blue display etc,faceplate,cover etc all immaculate,a few questions if I may regarding two issues....the tuner section runs perfect in mono but the left channel drops off in stereo to a noisy attempt at locking on,the amp section is perfect except that a slight "fried egg sizzle" is constant and noticeable(especially on the Fostex speakers) Internet wisdom says this is a common fault on these early 22series units that is caused by 1 of the 6 transistors on the tone board,replacing these with 2sc something or other will sort this issue out,anyone have experience with similar problems perhaps.She is only 15watts but sounds and looks absolutely delightful.Thanks in advance.
