I have this vintage Marantz that seems to be a good candidate for recapping. I visited Mantech yesterday, during load shedding and traffic jams, and came back with a nice haul:
They had 22 000uF 63V caps that had the right diameter (but slightly longer than original set) that I snapped up.
I think this will be good for the job; I'll just need to trim the studs off the back of the caps.
Any tips to share by persons who have done this before?
The amplier module came out quite easily, and I'll start the recapping here.
