I have a Marantz 510M that requires a rebuild (I think). The one channel caught alight while I was using the unit. The board appears to be burnt beyond reasonable repair. I am considering getting this amp refiurbed - new boards and full recap on both channels to prevent any sound differences. Alternartively, if someone has a board available for one channel, I can consider purchasing and using same and then just giving the amp a full service. I will take some piocs and post onto this thread of what the insides look like.
I hope to get some interest and some good suggestions on the way forward.
This is a chunk of an amp and it has been built like a tank so give me some time to try and move and open it up.
