Hello Everyone,
I am back in SA after 10 years, I hope everyone has been well.
I have been doing some maintenance work on my Fathers Marantz 2220B.
I replaced the Fuse Lights with some LED fuse lights that I found on TEMU.
Here is the link
It took 1 1/2 weeks to arrive and shipping was free.
I am quite happy with the what was delivered.
Upon opening the Marantz I noticed that someone had broken the Light PCB holder and did a quick fix with glue.
I modeled a piece in Fusion 360 and 3D printed it, it works quite well.
I sanded off the broken part and glued it to the original plastic part on the tuner.
If anyone else has this issue I have uploaded the 3D model to Printables.
I tried to add an LED on the stereo light indicator but the circuit is a little strange. When the tuner is in AUX or Tuner input mode the LED pulses at around 1Hz even tho the multimeter reads 10VDC constant.
When I set the Tuner to FM the stereo light does not engage at all even with a multi-meter I don't see a change on the voltage.
I suspect the stereo detection circuit is malfunctioning.
Here are some photos.
