I gave this peculiar looking device to a friend a good few years ago not knowing what it was and it turned out to be a two valve ecl86 amplifier it came home today in a unique guise working quite beautifully in her new home,a retired Marantz1030,all controls for volume,balance,bass and treble working a treat.Will kindly ask JQ to post some pics...this amp was built many decades ago by a former Pye Electronics employee.
