So my amp's HDMI outs stopped working (both ports) and I'm not too sure whether they can be repaired :sd:
The HDMI in's seem to be working fine (audio is still perfect) and it only seems to be an issue with the output ports. The ports do seem to detect that they are connected as well - the sound comes out after all! Forum oracles, have ye any advice on this issue? Is it something that I can undertake to repair myself (I've never really done this before but there's always a first).
The agents quoted me R12k for a new board (only over the phone though, they haven't inspected it as yet) and these amps are trading at about R 7500. At that price, I might as well look for another AVR and use this one as an amp or sell it!
