I am busy planning my system, and although I initially thought not to replace my current Yamaha DSP-AZ1 I started to realise there is a lot of convenience factors included in the new receivers.
I quite like the Marantz on paper for the following reasons:
Looks
Ability to stream network audio
HDMI switching
What other options is out there that basically offer this bearing in mind I am more of an audio person than an AV person, but still watches movies and enjoy it. I see the MSRP of the Marantz is R22k.
Initially I was just going to get the Squeezebox to add to my setup, but for a bit more I might be swayed (by myself
) to go the full route
