Wanted to quickly share with all TubeMagic owners my intended upgrade paths from here onwards, and hopefully get the bug in you with these recent discoveries (for me at least) .. Below applies largely to D2, however will work on D1/D1+
Current D2. I'll call it MKI+
OPA627 OAs in place of the stock
Shielded, solid core power cable
Raise the Jadis bias from 30 to 40ma
D2 MKII
MKI+ and
1. Replace the output-coupling (tube out) WIMA 1,8 / 160 AND the following 2 small WIMAs with a single Auricap XO or Mundorf or Jupiter flat
2. Replace the current NOS JAN GE 5670W with either a 396A 6N3 Cryogenic or with a black plate JG-5670-WA
D2 MKIII
MKII + Replace the OPA627 opamps with one for the following :

MKIII + Replace certain resistors in the signal path with Rikens or tantalums
This is it .. No more .. It is so good as it is now, after some 30-35 hrs of burn in, that i can see stopping at NKII for a while ..
Your ideas, objections, or anyone who has executed some of the above ?
