This question follows a video regarding home car charging (100% EV, not hybrid), which it seems will require a minimum 30A plug source.
I checked my distribution board the total amp of the installed breakers is 190A. The Earth Leakage is rated at 2.5kA and the main two breakers from the municipal supply is 3.5kA and one is 5kA !
What is the max limit that we as residences draw from Tshwane and can we just keep adding breakers until we reach e.g. 2500 Amps ? Of course in theory we should be able to draw as much as we're able to pay for.
