Received this 2 days ago from Geco ,  :2thumbs: thanks man , and decided this morning to quickly pop it in a Planar 2 with high compliance Goldring G900E just to check it out . I must have installed it and set it up in about 30 minutes , reckoning I could always move it to another deck later . Dropped into the hole the Acos Lustre ( rega R100 ) came out of with a little wiggle room , set up with Stevenson protractor . ~1.25 g at the tip , Adjustable VTA a breeze and azimuth set by adjusting VTF counterweight left and right , anti-skate adjusted to about as light as it can be ( which still isn't that light , I thought about making the anti-skate weight a bit lighter or just removing it completely ) .

Wow ! The sound is fantastic ! Deep , powerful , defined bass ; smooth , rich mids ; veritable highs  ;D and space . I'm seriously impressed . Changes made to Planar 2 are : platter made by the ghost with thick rubber on top and motor re-mounted with some EFA rubber between motor and top so as to be further isolated from the top .

Herewith , some pics : :D ( scaled to 1600 to 1200 and optimized for web with " The Gimp " so images open fast )
