Technically informative, lovely story (>49min) how a main Japanese distributor insisted that McIntosh need to develop external PSU for their pre-amps in order to be recognised in the high-end market, they designed such but last minute before production halted as they realised something is still very wrong thus their 'controller' was developed instead, truly unique & logical design when it comes to separating 'noisy' circuits from analog stages, semi-deep @65mins.
