I need help in choosing a media player and I am a total noob in this area.
I need the following:
Must be able to create playlists.
Must be able to network, wireless is preferable but not essential
RCA output as I only have an old 5.1 amp without optical input
Nice to have:
NAS functionality so I can stream music from my server and backup my movies and pictures
Album art for the music and video/ ISO files.
I nearly bought a Mede8er, but it was sold from under me :walled:. I have been offered a EGreatworld at a reasonable price. The mede8er looks good, but I have been told the interface is slow and difficult. I can't find to much info on the Egreatworld. I don't think I want something like popcorn and I don't need it to connect to the internet. If I can set up the playlists on my computer it would be great as I have a lot of mp3 files. Also I'd like not to spend a fortune.
