Hi all,
I'm itching to replace my current media player for some reason... It's a Playon HD running on the Mede8er firmware and has a 2TB HDD installed.
The first option I'm really keen on is the Apple TV... I can put my HDD into the PC and add the content to iTunes but will need to convert all the movies in order for them to work. The next problem is adding the metadata - there are various apps for Mac but have not found anything that does it well for Windows. If anyone knows of a program, please let me know
Second option is making a HTPC and using XBMC. I've played with that last night and was quite happy but would prefer a setup that allows for things like the Apple TV does.
Has anyone got other ideas that I could have a look at? Maybe a good media player box to replace the current one?
