So downloading a movie and putting on a USB stick and sticking it in the tv works, but not 100%. If there is a slight glitch on that download the tv just stops, whereas a pc you can just skip a bit and continue.
So time to get a media player of some sort...
Our setup consists of:
I have a windows 7 pc and ipads and iphones, 1 LG LCD in the bedroom, CRT in the front (will get a LED once our 2 year old son has grown up and doesn't hit it with his toys!) 2mb ADSL line - maybe updgrade to 20mbps VDSL in the future but not for now
Apple tv? - although you cant insert a USB (usb port for management or factory configuration - i read) - only seem to stream content. R1000
mede8ator? - Start at R1700 but more for what i'm looking for - wireless one is R2000 - willing to pay that
