Been thinking of passing on my 2004 Mazda MX-5 Miata to my daughter and getting another sports car. Thinking of getting a low mileage 2005 or so Mercedes McLaren-look SLK 350. Thing is the MX-5 has been totally reliable and servicing/maintenance very inexpensive. Last annual service by the Mazda agents only cost R 1450-00. Would appreciate any input/advice from Merc owners/enthusiasts as to whether they are expensive to maintain/service? The Merc will be a fun car, basically just for weekend driving. I need to do my homework though before I commit as I don't want to have to pay an arm and a leg in maintenance costs to keep the vehicle on the road.
