Why they called Mervin's? 'Cause that who I bought the drivers from 
So I got a set of Hi-Vi M5a's and a set of Siver Flute planar tweeters off of Mervin...
After some research it seems that they are not really a match made in heaven but I will give them a go anyway...
Off to BW to get some cheep timber for some trial boxes...
A little dry assembly to check dimentions...
Driver cutouts...
Front and back...
For now I am just throwing these together to see how it goes... For crossover duties i have a cheepie crossover board with three options 2k, 2.5k or 4k...
If the trials workout then i will spend more money on the boxes to make them nice and set about trying to find someone to help me design a proper crossover... I think that is gonna be the trick to get these two drivers to play nicely together...
Any comment or advice will be welcome...
