A family member accidentally ran over her laptop bag with her car and literally crushed her laptop to bits (yes, true story). Fortunately it seems the hard drive got through unscathed. It looks like this.

It's a tiny 1.8 inch drive using a micro SATA interface. I didn't even know of it.

Problem now is I want to recover data from the drive but I can't find a micro-SATA to SATA/USB anywhere. They are widely available overseas on ebay for very little but I need to get one quickly.

Anyone know where one can be purchased locally around Joburg/Pretoria?
