Hi, I am a new Micro Seiki turntabler and very happy with the looks, condition,function and audio /listening .
Just one point: the arm raises very apruptly from the record once the arm lift is activated and also descends very quickly onto the record, the latter causing frequent little jumps of the the stylus across two or so grooves-----which is definitely UNDESIRABLE....According to the specs the arm lifting/lowereing is dampened by delayed action from a "reservoir' (oil or other liquid).
Any experience with such problem ?
