Mid 80's AR The turntable

Hi, I am obviously new here.....am reverting very happily to good old vinyl (albeit the CD collection will continue) and have acquired said turntable in mint condition but missing the outer platter and mat. I am aware there are excellent upgrade platters machined out of various polymers but available in USA so not very cost effective (but very desirable). Any other AR turntable fans with spares and or advice on how to get hold of these platters or something that will work well?.
Playing through NAD phono stage/Rotel 981 and Mission 753's......
