Is there anyone who has one or know of someone that does.

When we lived in the uk in 1981-1983 my dad picked up a second hand Lima set, had enough track that it went round a wooden board that fitted ontop of the double bed upstairs in our house at the time.

I had quite a few engines, and i still have it today, got the box out yesterday to confirm what i had and yes it is a Lima set - apparantly very popular back in the day - made in Italy.

I noticed there are a few things missing which must be i boxes at my folks house...will need to scrummage there when we next go back there.

There are a few model train shops in jhb which i have contacted, cant wait till my son is older so i can give it to him and also get it going again!
