Hi Guys,
I've been wondering about how my old Transport/DAC combo of EAD T1000 and matching 1000-series DAC would stand up against newer players.
My combo is about 13 years old (maybe more), but still mechanically and sonically in tip-top shape.
My question is this: Will I be able to significantly better its performance by buying a "modern" player from the likes of Cambridge Audio, Yamaha, Marantz or Rotel?
Will a "modern" DAC make a significant improvement?
