Hi everyone,

I'm planning on building a set of sealed subwoofers using Peerless SLS 10" drivers and a pair of Parapix Subwoofer Amplifiers.

The Parapix amps use two LM3886 chips, which can be bridged to get 120w into 8 ohms. They also come with a bass boost, which entails a 12dB boost at 33.5Hz. More info on the amplifier here: http://www.apexjr.com/parapixinfo.html

The amplifier schematic is here: http://i.imgur.com/v2Wbh94.gif

I'd like to modify the gain of the bass boost function to around 6dB (half). This is a much better number and models really well in WinISD with the SLS driver.

Any ideas on which components to change to yield a lower gain? I'm guessing R5/2 and R2/2?

Thanks in advance.

Cheers,
Chris
