I don't know what Audeze ever did to the R&D team at Monoprice, but the Monolith division are seemingly hellbent on absolutely undermining them at every opportunity. Recently, they released the M1060's, which were essentially cheaper LCD-2's. Now they've gone and announced the M300's, the world's second ever planar IEM (after the Audeze iSine range)... for just under R2000.
