I have a problem...maybe someone can help...with all this technology we dont seem to have the software...i have a 6.1 channel system and i would like to buy some dvd's preferably movies with a Dolby Digital EX sound track, DTS-ES but when i look on the international sites - such as this one http://forums.audioholics.com/forums/showthread.php?t=7932 says that these movies just as an example:
CAST AWAY - has Dolby Digital EX and DTS-ES
102 Dalmations - DTS-ES
but if you go onto www.take2.co.za and look for those - it is normal 5.1??? either their website is out of date or somebody's info is wrong.
Now my girfriend has alot of the disney dvd's and what this website says has DTS-ES and DD-EX - it actually only has normal 5.1 no dts and no extensions - so where can one find proper information for south africa???
Now i know that Snakes on a plane has got both DTS-ES and DD EX cause i've hired it and set it on both and my receiver has picked up both formats - so with proof i know that works.
