Does anyone perhaps know how I go about getting my water meter/whole inlet moved? We only recently bought the house, and it is one of the things on my improvements list. The current location limits my driveway entry to a single lane, and then after the meter it opens up to a double parking space/carport. Actually quite tricky getting an SUV or double cab in and out at the moment.
I assume this needs to be done by the municipality. But what are the requirements or costs? I have also heard you just need to drive over it a couple of times...the municipality will get tired of having to fix it, and eventually relocate it....not going to explore this option.
