Thought I'd share my speaker stand design with forum members....

With space (and WAF) constraints, I had my stereo setup, with a sub - as well as a mini theatre system, also with a sub.  It was all messy and did nothing for the sound.  Also, I don't want to have to change stands every time (and if) I change speakers.  So one day in a clothing store I noticed how they had used industrial shelving rails, set into oak panels to carry the shelves and mulled this over for a couple of days - and came up with this.

I used a light wood and routered out the insets for the shelf rails;  and created a base for each sub, as well as adjustable shelves for my new little Dali's (or shall I call them Darlings!!) and the little KEF tripoles.  Very happy with the end result - looks better, sounds better - and the wife's happy too.....
