Listened to the new Mumford & Sons CD "Wilder Mind" at a friends place last night.
Yuck.
I've enjoyed their folky/rock/hipster style music to date, but with this new album they've completely lost their "signature sound". No banjo, no upright bass, all just electronica.
Sounds like an 80's rock band - shades of Aerosmith imho.
Sadly they have, in the words of their first hit single, "really f*&^ed it up this time".
I will not be spending my money on this.
Anyone else had a listen? Opinions? Am I alone in my disappointment?
