So I've just paid the 6 months they require for a rates clearance (R17,000) and my understanding is that I get a refund of the balance after transfer has taken place. I was under the impression that the refund will be small as transfer will be months down the line - but agent tells me this will around 1st May.
This means the refund will be R10,000+ ... but how easy is it to get? I'm new at the process :/
