We are a deadline driven company and when a customer asks for a job to be ready on a certain date , we put that date BIG on their order/ invoice and any other communication.

This woman ordered 2 plaques for  last Friday , they were done before time, IE on Thursday for collection on Friday. She has just called me to chew me out cos "no one phoned her to tell her the job was done"
As much as I tried telling her that we will only call a customer if there is a delay and if we have promised something will be done by a certain date , our word is good  , the more irate she got.
You can never win!!!!
