Hi Guys
Some pics of my DIY panels, unfortunately I didnt take the pics of the entire build. Left with two panels to complete which will be a light cream material in color.
Material Used:
Energy Lite 80 (purchased at egoli insulation, 10 sheets per pack of 1.2 x 600mm) R682.22
Pine 2700mm x 455mm (builders warehouse, when cut right produces 5 panels of 50mm thickness) R155
Cotton like material to cover back (charmdor) R25 per miter
Material for front (charmdor, really nice breathable material) R33 per meter
Guys please help me out on below:
I would like to use some sort of white wooden frame at the front, so the panels don't look DIY not that they are. Any ideas on how I can achieve this or is there a place where I can but the frame and just join it onto my panels?
How high should I mount the panels? ie from floor to the bottom part of the panel, I know it has been mentioned that 600mm is ideal height from the floor?
Thanks
