Guys and Ladies.
I purchased the SP10 in February of this year,As funds started to run short I was never that happy with her despite all Hi-Phibians attempts to get her to work upto the high standard of vinyl I am accustomed to with the Micro.Despite numerous hours spent by Hi-Phibiam I was still not happy with the beast as I call her.
When I purchased her in February of this year from Kent I did it more out of respect for S.A history being a part of S.A broadcasting history.The plinth made by Alty makes her massive.Anyway as time went by having no spare cash for various reasons I purchased a Tonearm from IvyMan albeit a Origin LIve Rega.On Saturday I delivered both the Tonearm and the t/t to Hi-Phibian ans gave instructions and suggestions to my friend.ie rewire the tonearm from IvyMan with Incognito wiring a new Sumiko Blue Point 2 and remove and swop ehe counterweight(His suggestiom).Today I played the beast at about 16:30 and despite fhe fact the cartridge is not yet played in
she sounds like a million dollars and probably better than the Micro.Many thanks Alty,Kent,IvyMann and most of all to my friend Hi-Phibian who has been so patint with me in my quest for a decent alternative to the Micro.
