Hi guys, I located this pair at a local auction house, offered them silly money (which I do now think was too much...), and took them home
NAD 6050C tape deck and a NAD 4020A tuner. Tuner works 100%, just missing the 2 button caps for AM/FM selectors, and the lettering is slightly yellow not white. will try cleaning that up a little...
Tape deck needs some help. electronically all is good, but the tape carriage will not lift when you press play, or it does lift, but not far enough to engage properly.. it will need to have a looking at. can anybody recommend someone I Jo'burg preferable in the south ( I am in Alberton), but I can take it to other areas also...
Or, perhaps it is something I can check out and repair myself with some check this, do that kind of guidance?
