it seems that HI-FI dealers in South Africa, at least in my opinion, are reluctant to sell either NAD and YAMAHA, if you go into a dealer and you ask for either of the products, they go on to tell you about the bad qualities of each of the products as if they are not good quality products. some dealers will say I stock NAD or YAMAHA, but I won't sell it to you. it seems like Marantz and Rotel are their favorite products they want to sell, so what's the real story with NAD and YAMAHA, i had to go to great lengths to get my NAD amp and cd player, i was not overly impressed by Rotel or Marantz. but across the forum it seems like YAMAHA is actually a good brand.
