Hi guys,

Just took delivery of the amp above which I bought second hand on the forum. Need a pair of nice bassy floorstanders. Apartment is a bit on the small side. I live in a bachalor - loft apartment. Any suggestions would be appreciated as I'm fairly new to this stuff..
Was thinking of a pair of Monitor Audio BX2's or something in that price range but I'm afraid I would be dissapointed by their low end performance.  If anyone has some floorstanders at around twice the price of the BX2's that are willing to take two payments, I would consider that..

Can anyone provide any feedback regarding PSB speakers? There was a mention of them on the NAD website since they are part of the same company.
Heard a set of R6k PSB's in Govan Mani in Durban, hooked up to a cheap Pioneer Stereo amp ( R1k ) and they sounded good. Heard some Klipsh  Reference8-2's that sounded awesome but way out of my price bracket and some small Boston floorstanders that didnt really impress. Both the Boston and the Klipsch ran off a small 40 watt NAD amp.

I'm going to use an old pioneer DVD player as a source for now. According to the stickers on it, it has a built in DAC. What are the benefits of this?
I would really like a Marantz CD 6003 but they are so expensive. If anyone is selling one second hand let me know so I can sell some of my old hifi ( Sansui )in order to afford this..
