I bought an L40 yesterday for a good price but the loading tray is a bit dodgy. I'm sure I need a new belt from the motor to the gearing mechanism. It feels quite loose.
Also, when the tray is all the way out the mechanism stops trying to open it further. When it's all the way in it continues to try and close it. Forunately none of the gears look stripped so I think all it's need is a good service and calibration.
Is there some kind of sensor that knows when the tray is all the way in/out and duly stop the motor?
Any NAD specialists here that can help me out or offer to repair at a good price?
