I've just been given the above item as a friend of mine went and bought a Rotel to replace it. He said it would play for awhile and then just cut out. His comment was "What do NAD know about cooling?" So I guess it's heat related.(no **** Sherlock 
) . We have a Blackout at the moment so I've just wiped it down and removed the cover. Not too dusty inside.....maybe a couple of months worth. Will plug it in and see if the fan works. If not.....then I'm in your hands
