I am new to the forum and am looking for some guidance.
I recently procured a NAD T747 reciever knowing that the HDMI ports were not working. My intention was to use this purely for listening to music. The receiver is in perfect cosmetic condition and for some reason i have become quite attached to it for some reason.
Question i have are,
. Where would the best place be to take it to get repaired / assessed (I am in Johannesburg)
. Is it worth repairing or should i just move on
. I noticed that the top of the reciever gets quite warm on the section above the HDMI card. Should i not use it to listen to music on until the HDMI board / card gets repaired.
Appreciate any advice / input from the forum.
