rudi has been keeping me up to date on the build on my new dulcet for a while now, & today was the big day. i went go pick it up from him..

it sounds absolutely stunning, and looks just as good inside & out. i may not be a technical person, but i have not often seen a component looking so neat & tidy inside...

then i was given the option of having it in this stunning, textured, grey finish. hell yes..

first i listened to it a while on rudi's system. sounded glorious... what a terrific system

i had to run a couple of errands, but eventually i was home & it went into the shelf.

a little off centre, as my tt cable is quite short..

wow. vinyl has never sounded so good on my system. imaging, sound textures, separation, attack. so now i'm starting think there is something other than nostalgia to these round, black discs..

my system consists pretty much totally of components built by forum members.. valve audio, vivere, dulcet, genesis triton, and with local speakers (vivid). in addition my turntable has benefited immensely from some bits & attention from hiphibian.. these are just the guys i have dealt with. i have no doubt others provide the same standards

i am floored at the levels of design, craftmanship, and service levels of the forum members. what a terrific bunch of people here..
