Friend who owns an office park building on Observatory and has covered the entire roof with PV panels, making this building totally off the grid, reckons that this proposed "tax" will cost him about R100k a month, which is not much less than he was paying CT Council for his electricity
His outlay for the PV panels and stuff was R1.8m
There is a petition going around, but I am not sure how much impact it may have
