Yes, I know, the Modern Audio Man (MAM) has servers, streamers and subscription services.
He need not read any further.
But there are still millions of music fans, men and women alike, who enjoy playing their billions of shiny old discs.
And for that, they need CD Players.
So why not a nice one? Or two?
NOTE: I've only bundled these two CD Players together because they use the same transport mech - the new CD-Pro8 from StreamUnlimited. (Afaik a bunch of ex-Philips engineers started SU, so there's some historical transcription of knowledge there.)

First up, the Gryphon Ethos. Beautiful beyond words. Achim, I only need the one kidney.

Next, the CD Box RS2 T from Pro-Ject Audio Systems.
Perhaps not quite as exquisitely turned out as the Gryphon, but charming in its own minimalistic way.
