We have recently moved into our new house and now feel the time is get another dog to join us. WE currently have a female Jack Russell, 10 years old with a very good nature. She typically ignores other dogs on the beach or at the park. We'd like to get a bigger dog but not too big, our erf is only 430sqm.
Been thinking of a Staffie or a Husky (but I hear local climate is not ideal).
A rescue is a definite option and the preferred option but would prefer a puppy so it can be trained up.
Thoughts, suggestions, do's, dont's ?
