My experience when observing the new Ultra HD TV sets on offer, is that the picture (person's facial expression and skin colour) does not appear natural, but more artificial (shinny like a plastic doll face).
I have a 10 year old Panasonic TH-42PH11 HD ready plasma monitor (720p) and the picture always looks real (natural skin tone and colour). Yes it has some movement artifacts issues displaying some fast movements or criss cross patterns, but I still prefer it's picture quality above the new generation TVs.
What is your experience and are there any new generation TV that can provide a natural looking picture (not excessively bright colour display types), which doesn't cost the price of a car?
