So i've been thinking about how peeps here in the forum get - new music.
By new i mean, anything from new artists you have never heard of, new genre, etc.
- Here's hwo i generally acquire my new music.
Having Dj'd in the past (well every now and again I do), i am used to going out and searching for new music. This has given me the ear to quickly pick up on songs that are good, songs that will be a definite crowd pleaser (etc.)
So I acquire new music by being spontaneous, like going to a cd store, buying something u've been eyeing and just grab something you've never heard of in a farmiliar genre (this is either a hit or miss) and the miss gets really hectic at times.
Browse YT/Amazon with the intention of seeing what other people bought - from the similar selections you have.
Recommendations from reliable sources
A recent one has been the "Now Playing" section.
Audiomuze has quite a selection of music - and from the stuff he listens to, i have grabbed a few artists - YT'd it, and ordered online or went to a local cd store (Thanks Audiomuze
). And i've bought quite a few albums that other forumites have posted in the section.
Although there's plenty of music out there on the interweb - New good music is hard to find, and I love myself some new music every so often.
So how do u get new music?
