Seeing as there's quite a few people into computers and photography, I thought I'd ask here.
Looking for a new computer, mainly for general use and photo editing. Not much into gaming. What to get pc(windows) wise?
We're considering either one of the Samsung 24"LED or the P2770 27"LCD screen. Budget for screen ie is around R3k. I guess total budget would be R7k.
Are these any good for photo editing purposes? I know the Macs look great, but it seems way overpriced locally, and the photo editing is not of such a serious factor to actually justify one. The Mac screens also have a higher resolution compared to the full hd ones! But then again, its still hardly a factor of the camera's resolution. Or am I missing something?
What else would I need? Graphics card or onboard and how much RAM is enough? CPU?
Any other suggestions would be appreciated?
