I used to connect my mac book pro to an aux input for playlists when having guests round until today.
I plugged my Airport express into my home LAN router today, making it another wifi access point to connect too.
An airport express has an audio output jack on it. I connected this to the aux on the amp and configured Itunes to use airtunes to stream across the network.
Well it does not sound exceptional but it's working, great for background tunes but certainly not audiophile stuff.
Why you ask?
i have 200 albums on my macbook pro, 80% of them are FLAC files. this is a total of nearly 3 weeks of playback.
it's also a cool way for guests to choose something, or make there own compilation while visiting.
Yes Itunes can play FLAC files get Fluke its a great mediation tool.
